A beer festival was held over 2 days (Sunday 25th/Monday 26th May) at the Plough Inn, Diseworth.
The JCT Team were present on the Sunday afternoon with a selection of clothing and we would like to thank Scott and Nicola and the people of Diseworth for their support for the charity.
Great Music, great weather and great people what more could you ask for!!
Thanks to Donna & Alan, Kelly, Amy & Damon and all the children who made loom bands - which went down a treat for making it another successful event raising £400!! We also met lots of new people who want to help support the charity in various ways. Thank you.
The Footsteps Nursery in Castle Donington held a summer fete on Saturday the 9th August. The fun started at 10am and ran until 2pm with a good turnout by all supporters. The Joseph Cooper Trust held a stall complete with a variety of clothing and craft product and £150 was raised. The fete also raised £350 and a donation to the JCT of £100 was given by the Chroma Decorating Company from Nottingham.....thank you.
In total the JCT raised £600, many thanks to all who came and donated.
Julie Greaves, who many years ago looked after Joseph at nursery along with 2 of her friends Sarah Holford & Ally took part in the Womens running 10km series race at the Victoria embankment in Nottingham, between them they have raised approx £160 - brilliant!
Congratulations to Sarah who came 2nd with a time of 42mins - Amazing result !
David Mills and Julie Roberts of the JCT team, held a stall at the Beeston Fields school fete to help raise funds for our charity.
The day ran from 11am to 2pm and although it was a cold and wet day and the turn out wasn't as expected they managed to raise £100.
