Becky Jarvis from Ashby School, some friends and Otto the dog walked from Loughborough to Rothley and back which was abot 16 miles in total! Great effort, the sun was shining and they had alot of fun along the way. Gylby house has chosen us for their sponsorship this year and this was just one of the events. Many thanks.
Hind Leys Colllege hosted a quiz night which was arranged by Harry Freestone & Charlotte Farnsworth along with some of the other students.
It was a great night, extremely well organised with some very taxing questions! A big thank you to everyone who went along helping them to raise £200 - Brilliant!
Diseworth Village held it's annual village show on Saturday the 6th Sept 2014. Great weather allowed for a fantastic turnout and plenty of activity especially on the JCT stand. Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us and added another £250 to our pot!
Marco of Trattoria Antonio's, Nottingham competed in the Robin Hood Half Marathon on 28th September and raised an amazing £312 - Many thanks.
Hayley Kerslake took part in the Miss 2014 Pageant in Watford on the 15th June 2014.
As part of the Pageant Hayley chose our charity and designed her own T shirt to explain what our charity is about and what we are trying to acheive.
Hayley did extremely well, not only in highlighting our cause, but in coming second in the Pageant!
