The sun was certainly shining on us today. We had a fab time at the Medieval Market raising a staggering £550 and we won the best stall of the day as voted for by the Parish Council. Extremely proud of the team pictured here in our new "uniform" - you can certainly see us coming!!
The Plough at Diseworth's 2nd annual family fun day was held in aid of The Joseph Cooper Trust.
There were: Games, quizzes, competitions etc. Bouncy castle, Bbq. Stalls - including homemade crafts, forever living products, sock monkeys and the Joseph Cooper Trust stall along with a raffle to end the day. The weather was fantastic and everyone had lots of fun.
What a brilliant night!! Great food, great entertainment & great company. £1000 raised - great result! Thanks to everyone involved.
Karen Hodgson and 4 other family members ran in the Derby 10K event. Karen did it in 1 hour 15mins, not bad for a first attempt - Well Done.
