<p>Cathy Smeeton&nbsp; set herself a challenge by running in the Robin Hood half marathon. Her target amount was £250 which she smashed!! A total of £500 - brilliant! <p>What a glorious day this was!</p> <p>The sun was out at&nbsp; Mickleover Golf Club where 10 teams of 4 took part in a Charity Golf Day organised by M & M Properties. I was lucky to be invited to the presentation event which was preceded by a lovely meal, and it was brilliant to be able to chat to such great guys who were extremely generous.</p> <p>Later that evening a raffle was held at the Pough Inn, Diseworth consisting of many prizes given by local businesses and a special prize of a designer handbag kindly donated by Mitzi & Charlie Steven - a former school friend of Josephs.</p> <p>The grand total raised was £1132.40 - amazing! A big thank you to everyone who donated on the day and to all involved in the orgainsing of the event.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

She chose ourselves and a boarding school in Uganda which has been set up to look after 31 disbaled children.&nbsp;</p> <p>What an amazing acheivement, she raised around £600 for the Trust which has already been put to good use.</p>

Monday 24 June the staff and pupils of Castle Donington College&nbsp; organised the annual memorial walk on behalf of the Trust and rememberance of Joseph who attended the college. Didn't see much sun this year but this didn't dampen their spirits!<br />Years 7-10 walked and chatted along the way and purchased some clothing items. The generosity of some students was amazing and together they raised a huge £1020!!! - thank you so much.</p>
